Maybe next time

I guess Keegan's body wasn't quite ready for Disney World. He spiked a high fever last night, so here we sit at Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital instead of making memories at the Magic Kingdom. Still in the same clothes we arrived in.  Another flare. This hospital does not have transplant or rheumatology to care properly for Keegan during another flare. It sounds like the transport team from Children's Dallas will be able to come get him by tomorrow, pending insurance approval. Plans are still very much in the air. We will update more as we know it. Please pray for a quick transfer home where he needs to be. Thank you so much.

I know that life is not fair, but THIS IS NOT FAIR!!!!! I'm so sorry you guys aren't able to enjoy Disney World. You all truly deserve a break. Praying for a safe return home.

Damn. Pardon my french, but DAMNIT. You try to give the kid a few days of happiness and normalcy, and it gets yanked away practically at the admission gates. I can't imagine how utterly deflated all of you must feel. I'm just so sorry for your whole family. So disappointed, and so very, very sorry.

Definitely praying for a quick and easy transfer and for Keegan to get better. I am so sorry. I have been excited for you and your family all week, so this just breaks my heart. I pray that you all get to go to Disney very soon.
